Looking Back

The photograph posted yesterday shows just how lovely this part of the world can be during the long summer evenings here in Nethy Bridge. On a good evening you can sit out in the garden until around 11pm and relax taking in the wonderful Highland air. After sifting through some older photographs of Granite Cottage I happened upon this image taken between Christmas and New Year 2009/2010. The contrast between summer and winter is incredible, that said there's still plenty of things to enjoy in the colder months whether it's skiing, walking, climbing or simply relaxing.

This photograph is of the front of Lower Appartment at Granite Cottage. If you look down the driveway you can just see two keen sledgers enjoying the winter wonderland!
